I play golf on Thursdays with the Austin Police Golf Association. About half are retired LE, one third active (APD, Travis Co Sheriff, TABC, etc. even a couple of past chiefs play on occasion.) The rest have never been on that side of the law, like me! The word that I get from some of them is that they don't have much interest in the hobbyist and the ladies such as our Adorables. IF THEY HAVE TO, they will come down on the sw's and other public problems before they bother us, as long as we are not being stupid nor flagrant. Many would actually like to see some of our providers professionally (the providers profession not LE) but fear being found out.
