A lot of you have asked me why I care so much about those who serve our country.
There are not enough words to express the whys. Nor enough to Say Thank you.
You put your life on the line for our country. For millions of people you don't even know. And many who don't
even know your name. You leave a lot behind, you sacrifice more than you should.
You should be reconized more than you are. I couldn't do what you do. I know that.
I appreciate what you do! Thank you.

A wonderful new movie just aired on HBO. (if you get a chance to see it. Please do).

"Taking Chance" with Kevin Bacon.

A Marine escorts the remains of fellow Marine back to his home. And the many strangers who
reconize him for the man that he is, the sacrifice he's made to protect our Country. Is beautiful.

But, not always something you see in reality.
It's a good movie.[/b]
Thank you Wicked MILF for starting this thread!

What a great movie! For all of our fallen men and women who have fought hard to keep our Country free and who are still out there protecting us.. God Bless!

I cried the whole time, and I did notice the rusty Marine next to me wiping his eyes too. Semper Fi (Color Guard and escorted funerals too)...

I like the write up in the Washington Post:
