Well as far as Gramm goes you can start with some deregulation bills he introduced. The domino starts there. Not blaming him for the total break down but he can take some credit for it. Nobody was regulating any rating agencies, who was loaning what to whom and so forth. I am fully aware of the opportunities opened up by those wanted subpar people having access to what they couldn't afford and they were wrong ,Dems or Repubs and this didn't have to be a hindsight thing. Again ,Gramm did his share of damage. Plenty of blame to go around after that.
