I will be in town this afternoon and evening and would like to hit a good foodie spot. I’m open to anything as long as it is good food.
Thanks

Eatmeallover24 knows the absolute best place to eat in Dallas! Thanks for sharing the meal with me
If you ever get the chance, try Razoos. It's one of my fave places in Dallas. They don't have them in OKC, and it's really good - better than Pearl's Oyster Bar in OKC, even. :) My fave Razoos is the one in Plano off the DNT.
Oceanaire
whiskeycake
oddfellows - breakfast/brunch
shell shack
zenna
just to name a few!
I second Razoos. Love their rat toes.
But my favorite Dallas restaurant is Mariano’s on Skillman/Abrams. Inventor of the frozen margarita machine.

Seems like I answered a thread like this that you posted just the other day, but I'll go ahead and put in my 2 cents again. I recommend Razoos in Plano. That's one of my fave places. Just to name some things they have: rat toes, gator tail - blackened and fried, gumbo, stuffed shrimp, cajun etouffee (my fave), and can't forget the gator punch. :D
As I said in the previous thread, I think Razoos is way better than Pearl's Oyster Bar in OKC, even though I do love Pearl's too. ♥
Hope that helps.
Annie, thanks for responding to both...it was a duplicate. I was driving from OKC and was trying to do too many things at once. I have been to Razoos before and did enjoy it but I’m looking for the hole in the wall type establishments(I love holes)where the food is more spectacular than the ambiance...although I love when I can get both in the same place. Please keep me up to speed on more of your favorite spots. Maybe we can meet for lunch sometime.
Thanks!
Yummy topics merged. Now I'm hungry!
Just FYI, lads and lassies, non-Hobby discussions/requests should be posted in THIS forum, not Coed, please.
Keep the suggestions coming! I visit Dallas every so often (for fun, not funding, grin) and love sampling new food. Thanks! -- FIH/staff
