Paying with Cashapp/Paypal/Venmo

Why are so many clients requesting to use Cashapp/paypal/venmo as payments?
Why do you prefer payment apps over cash?
I would think cash is better because it doesn't leave a paper trail

Most SOs have access to bank accounts. Not necessarily a credit card that is linked to the app.

alot of people choose this method because they can pay and all that will show up is paypal on bank statements then of course venmo offers things like cash back for chevron starbucks target its easily hidable.

I usually only accept cash. Ill accept CA, PP & Venmo from regulars. I try not to do it more than 2-3 times a week, so my accounts don't get flagged/suspended/deleted..

I get paid for several services via paypal and with paypal being linked to my bank it just makes life easy. Going to hit an atm can just be a hassle at times.

I've veen doing more. Doesn't matter to me as long as I get paid I just charge a small inconvenience fee (I call it). I didn't see this thread when I started one earlier. But it seems to be more common for sure....
