I agree references are the best way to verify.. Even if girls don’t respond. I don’t ask much.. 2-3 references.. I don’t see newbies.

I will see men who aren’t verified on oh2.. but I do want my references.

I've yet to see any proof from you and you were asked by mods to respond to the post, which you didn't. It's not slander if it's true sweetie. Slander is more like when people post false information to get someone blacklisted because they weren't quick enough on the response and was just in a bad mood that day. I'm sorry that I happened to respond to him faster than you and that you in turn got upset and then decided to turn around and provide no proof to serious allegations made against someone. And you've yet to clear up the question about why exactly a verified status matters to a person who has posted publicy in ISO that you don't take references from anyone, but that is how these guys get verified?

you also get a clue concerning the person from their board presence, postings, communications, and the like. the word "verified", be it companion or hobbyist, is more a statement of legitimacy than quality of the individual

The crazy ones always tend to out themselves don't they?? You can tell A LOT about a person by simply going back and looking at how they act/speak on the board. Which speaks VOLUMES. You learn who's opinions/posts should be taken with a grain a salt ya know?

Agreed, but most of us were simply debating her point on the verified status meaning anything here. But I'm sure she's gonna go silent on the matter once again.

Hmm probably because OP came back and changed the topic entirely because nobody was arguing the fact about everyone having their right to verify how they see fit, but rather her snide comment about guys who don't have a verified status as if it means anything to anyone. A lot of verified hobbyist on here cause more issues than the unverified ones if I'm being honest, and speaking from experience.

As the Mods have mentioned before, Verified Status means nothing when it comes down to reliability, honesty and being trustworthy. I can personally attest to this with ladies, just as the ladies can attest to it with the guys.
