for the record:

There usually exists a very distinct line between hobby and civvie worlds.

When hobby lives intertwine into the civvie sector (especially as far as roommates or tenants) and something in the relationship goes awry, hobby folks cannot and should not expect the hobby community to be anything but supportive -- emotionally -- but not much more.

Also, hobby folks cannot expect, nor should they demand that the hobby community be judgemental.

None of us except the intertwined persons are witnesses. Even with photos.
