Spas Closing?

I haven't seen anything in the news, but I noticed a few of the Spas that I used to go to are now closed. Yes, the ones that I really enjoyed going to. I began to shift from Escorts because I knew I would get 30 mins or an hour of service. A relaxed atmosphere, sometimes a table shower before or after the massage. I really began to prefer that vs an escort.

However, they cleaned up Bissonnet and now it looks like LE is targeting the spas.


I may have to go back to Escorting or I may have to go with the Personal Hand Service and save time & money!

What's going with the closings? :-(

Don't forget we're on the back end of one election (local) and have the federal/state stuff coming up. So the powers that be still have the LE types out 'cleaning things up'. Plus we got a new DA and a new Mayor, both of whom need to show they are doing something. Next year this time it will all be back to the status quo.

I don’t know people that visit spas/Studios/AMP/agencies. Nor do I not any provider that entertains gentleman at one… I will say, that I tell all gentlemen that are either just stepping into the hobby, or coming back from a hiatus, to find one or two solid, independent, reliable providers, and stick to them. I understand the hobby is about a variety of things. Just as providers have to screen and make sure our safety and yours as a top priority, you, gentlemen, have to make sure that your safety is a priority as well. I have noticed places that have been open for years are closing. Two of the 3 places on I-45 north between Tidwell and Parker on the northbound side appear to be closed, one for sure. The election year has something to do with it.. but I think it is more of money deal.

Back when I got into the scene, a spa/amp was about 40% cheaper than it is now. House fee was 40 and for FS you paid the girl 80. over time the spa/amp scene had price increases to the point they are equal or higher to independents. Their ONLY advantage is most spa's / amps have over the independent lady is you can walk in, get serviced and be on your way.. no planning in advance. But if their fee's are rivaling the lovely independents a lot of men might decide to bargain shop for lower priced spas and before you know it they close down. Girls can't make money, can't pay the rent etc.....

Now should the charge more for being available sometimes 24/7 and no appointment needed? yes and no. Like an independent charging a higher hourly rate for outcall or a set fee for outcalls (50-100 for travel) yes being available 24x7 has a price but.. when the server level sucks in a bad way and all the girls do is waste time then word gets out on boards like this one and others.

bad service from spa girls, the spa has 2 choices : enlighten the girls to do better etc.. get new girls to replace the bad ones or last resort shut down because the spa has a rep.

How many times have we seen a spa post "under new management" or has a new name?

Thank you for your response. You make a good point. I have found some companions that were awesome, but I have to save money in order to play and by the time I am ready to play again, they are not available. Oh, I can't really schedule appointments most of the time. That's a problem too. I may find a few hours of Play Time and I have to find someone to meet right then. Then, of course I see someone else that I have been dreaming about meeting and I try someone new.

Yeah, I need to find a few steady companions and stick with them.

Oh, I used to work in Cartagena for over three years. Well, I traveled back and forth for a contraction project. I would be there 3-4 weeks at a time. I got a chance to go to Cali and Bogota too. Mi espa?ol es horrible. Us? Google Translate la mayor parte del tiempo. :-)

While I was visiting Tenn back in Aug I found someone on AdultSearch. Their "handler" had a connection to the Sandstone house. I got back to Houston and visited the Sandstone house. The lady I met there was in an AMP the following month and let me know. I have seen her once or twice a month since then. She changes locations every 6 weeks. I asked her why and she said that her "employer" buys/rents the AMP by the month so she moves accordingly. I've tried to convince her to go out on her own but not speaking good English she is afraid. She, and the other 4 ladies, live at/in that AMP. Finding that out, it is scary to visit her now.
