Nola Trip with Maya Monroe

I'm considering a trip to Nola, what are some good areas to stay in? Close to things or not to expensive to Uber to ?

I've only been once before and really can't remeber what area I stayed in but spent the entire time in the french quarters ofc lol Is staying in or close to there realistic like price wise and elevators without key cards?


Any tips or insight info is much appreciated ^_^

With Mardi gras around the corner, hotels are going to be way high, but you could probably find something in Metairie for less. Problem is, Uber to downtown from there will not be super cheap, believe over 30 from airport. Slidell is probably farther than you want to be, but Nice area on the lake. I'd try hotels.com first.

I've used them for years, never an issue. I want the hotel thinking my business booked the room, not me personally. I have a business account with VRBO and now Expedia, hotels.com and VRBO are all connected so I'm not tossing my points. I have thousands of miles and free nights I'd lose booking directly, plus I don't want to stay at the same chain every visit. I just started traveling for the hobby, but my real business has me all over, so this requires more caution for me I guess.

FYI, I didn't reply to this post assuming the advice I gave would actually be if use when you already knew the answers. I replied to bump the post so guys would see it. Silly me for trying to help a sister out.
