    Non hobby question....

    How many of you guys out there don't believe in giving your girlfriend gifts on their birthday, Christmas or Valentine's day? I once had a boyfriend who never got me gifts on those days and 75% of the reason why he's an ex. Just curious....

    I wash his clothes, cook great meals, buy groceries with my
    own money, clean his house, have my own place, give him
    exotic showers, reminder> this is personal bf (not a client).
    No I didn't get him a materialistic gift.
    But he contributes by taking care of my car, he offered (I didn't ask).
    Give & take relationship.
    I enjoy cooking for him

    I'm not a fan of the commercialization of holidays, valentines day, birthdays . I give gifts to my loved ones all the time simply because they crossed my mind. Having said that it's a must to recognize those event because that's the society we live in and if a person isn't mindful of that people will slowly not want to be in their life. Some things one just has to do
