I am on meds to handle migraines, and the generics for imitrex are great and even after DECADES of using them mostly work if you catch migraines in time. One other medical remedy that has worked on/off for me for years is taking one each Excedrin and Advil migraine (they are 2 different meds so attack it 2 different ways)

Definitely going to try the ad I'll migraine because I've definitely built up a tolerance to excedrin at this point.

I used to take imatrex but they definitely have to be taken before it's already gotten worse. Some days I just have to take benadryl and sleep it off through "sedation".

Is it true that standing up and soaking your feet in the hottest water you can handle will cure your migraine because the heat will draw the blood to your feet, easing the pressure on the blood-vessels in your head. They say "If the headache is extreme, try adding hot mustard powder, which can make the soak even more effective."

I take propranolol and it helps tremendously. Not sure if you could get a script but it's one of the only things that's worked for me

I take a once a month migraine injection Aimovig

I was diagnosed with vestibular migraines : October thru December are the most difficult months for me. Weather changes, barometric pressure changes, allergens, additional noise at local grocery and retail stores due to holidays.

Also think about the following ..
Have you changed shampoos, conditioners or body washes, or laundry soap ?
Have you added a fragrance to your car, home or work place : example wall plugs with fill in fragrance, candles ? ( filled with toxic chemicals ) some times it’s select scents of candles that cause migraines.
Have you changed cleaning chemicals ?
Have you started, stopped, changed birth control ?

Journal .. you will figure out your migraine trigger

Sending .. love, compassion, kindness and understanding ..

Caffeine is a vasodilator. It is found in OTC migraine medicatiom. Regular advil and red bull are great to push out headaches. Hydration only occurs when salt is present to pull the water into your organs, otherwise you are drinking water just to piss. Anything brined/pickled isbgoid because of the salt content. Also banans are full of potassium too. Making sure your blood sugar is regulated is important. Stay away from sugar and cured meat(salami, pepperoni, ham, etc).

Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, not vasodilator. That's why it helps with migraines from dilated blood vessels.

Thank you again for all the recommendations! They've certainly helped and I've been getting them less frequently now, some days are better than others. I've started drinking a glass a day of this water mixture that just has pink Himalayan sea salt mixed in (small amount to where its not noticeable.
