I think Lankfords in Midtown is very overrated & the Houston BBQ company had the worst BBQ I've ever had.

Main Street Chinese buffet (south main & 610 loop) THANK GOD they closed down years ago. Last time I ate there I had to pull over on the free and power vomit over the overpass (some car below caught my chunks but I did not stick around)

Lankfords made Diners, Dives and Drive Inns... their CFS (Chicken Fried Steak, I know this board, everyone will think the OTHER thing) is great.

I will add the Red Lobster on 1960 just west of 45 north. was there the other night, waitress took forever to acknowledge me, never brought my my cheddar bay biscuits, when asked for 2 extra tartar sauce containers, she brought 1. So when I paid my bill I asked to speak to the manager which when she asked why I told her it was between them and I. She said she needed to tell them why they were being asked so I asked another wait staff member to get me the manager.

Told him about the lousy service etc and told him when I get home I will give a bad review (which I did) and complain to corporate.

He knocked a few bucks off the bill (was 48, he leveled it to 40) I also told him that keeping the temperature to 55 degrees in the place is GREAT to discourage bacteria growth (Hospitals do it) but when a guest is catching a cold or pneumonia because of it, thats a GOOD way to get the health department called.

It’s not the first time I order a Stake in a Tex-Mex restaurant, this one was impossible to eat. I believe it was frozen and they just put it on the grill.

You can't possibly compare Morton's to Timmy Chan's.
One is simply overpriced.
The other is absolutely foul.

I definitely was not comparing them. I was just stating the ones that I did not like. Timmy Chans is more fast food. Definitely no comparison to Morton’s.
