FAQ - maintaining "active" verified member status

ourhome2.net is an active hobbying community, which means "use it or lose it."

verified members must continue to log in periodically, and, if they are

"verified hobbyists" they keep their verified status by either posting confirmed reviews or via verified companions PM-ing periodic confirmations to ck1942 at least within every 60 days

"verified companions" keep their verified status by continued posting of ads and updating their profiles or, if they are UTR, via the confirmation process outlined above.

    = = = = =

Reports are that some companions appear to charging for confirmations or telling hobbyists they will only confirm sessions longer than a QV or BnG.

Policy here is that every request for confirmation should be honored; obviously the screening for a one hour session should be the same as for a QV or BnG.

If a verified companion (or verified hobbyist) feels confirming a session is out of bounds, she should report that to ck1942 for research and adjudication. (Bad apples, scalawags, cheaters and beaters, for example).

FAQ - "aging out" & "stale" membership

Members who do not maintain an active profile here (see item above) will eventually be given "Inactive Member" or "No longer active here" status.

And dropping from verified member status happens in stages.

A lack of activity for 60 days will generate an inquiry and reminder to the member that active status has ended. And, thus total access to the site is curtailed.

Further inactivity will becomes Inactive member status with no notice.

This is simply a "housekeeping" sweep of the data base to reduce (and in some instances, prevent) overloading the database with surplus PMs, for example.

Inactive Members should email support@ourhome2.net to request restoration (and, in some instances, explain why the absence was prolongued).
