Geez, Gypsy. Yeah; they're out there. Whatever you do, never say "How f'ing stupid can you get?" Some of those @zzholes take it as a personal challenge. ;-)

Persevere; and keep reminding yourself that we're not all that stupid.
According to the multiverse theory there exists an alternate universe where I have the body of a Greek god, I'm filthy rich, have a magnetic personality, and women adore me for more than an hour at a time. I must find that universe, go there, kill that guy and take his place.

I am discovering little garter snakes in my lawn... my dad taught me they are good to irragate the garden and keep the bugs and rodents at bay. I don't have a garden, I have a 1/4 acre city lot. Should I worry about them or just leave them be? Would they hurt a Chihuahua? (I am well aware they are not poisonous).

I am not a herpetologist, but what i've picked up over the years indicates garter snakes would not pose a danger to small pets.

I agree with Red, most of the small garden snakes aren’t usually a threat to pets and they are not poisonous for sure. The larger snakes can inflict a painful bite though, poisonous or not.

So last Tuesday Steve had a pain on the right start while he was at work. Wrote it off as gas. Wednesday woke up is a bit more pain. Was gonna go to work but I talked him into er visit. His appendix had went to hell Sunday or Monday and had burst on Tuesday! Surgery Wednesday night at midnight. It went well. Recovering at home since Friday. His boss asked if he could work Sunday!

Glad to hear he caught it in time, as those can be deadly. Mine did the same thing and I went 3 days before the Mrs. forced me into the ER. Within an hour I was in emergency surgery. Funny thing is it was giving me phantom pains all over the place, chest, stomach, throat and the few months prior the doctors couldn’t figure out what was going on. Damn appendix.

Thank you y'all, I didn't think they were a threat but good to hear others say (type) it.

Oh goodness, GH, I'm so sorry! Thoughts and prayers for him!
