I'm watching VH-1 and darn there are some great ole songs that they are rolling through on their "One hit wonders of the 80's"....I didnt even know half of these were just one hit wonders.

    Here are a couple:

Patrice Rushen - Forget me nots (what a FANTASTIC song)

Vixen - living on the edge of a broken heart (never heard of them lol)

    Ziggy Marley - tomorrow people

Nick Kershaw - wouldn't it be good

Now see this is where I wish I were as good as WTF with the link thing because I'd insert the youtube clip for Patrice Rushen which is one of the most heavily sampled hits ever (well, according to VH-1 it is lol).

Patrice Rushen - Forget me Nots

If the link above worked I'm giving myself a big gold star on my forehead lol. (btw WTF...the bell boy shaking his ass right at the beginning made me think of you...and I have NO IDEA why lol).

There are loads of them!!. Admittedly, some of them are sheer...well crap, which is why they were one hit wonders, but hell, some are REALLY good.

Ziggy Marley and Julian Lennon never really stood a chance did they following in the footsteps of such famous fathers?

So what one hit wonder (any decade) do you really like?

    Another guilty pleasure!

If you can stand a few more....

The Rayvens, "Raised on the Radio" [Made famous by Fast Times At Ridgemont High]

The Hooters, "And We Danced..." [That was their hit but I still prefer, "Blood From a Stone"]

The Outfield, (I Don't Want to Lose) "Your Love" (Tonight)

Bow Wow Wow's cover of "I Want Candy"
I could just *kiss* your promiscuous mind

Well my vote is that the best 80's group was "Frankie goes to Hollywood"
Do y'all remember the two tribes video with Regan and Brezhnev?
And who can forget all the "Relax" t-shirts that people used to wear lol.

My favorite 80's music? How about the solo female singers Tiffany and Debbie Gibson? I think each came out with one cassette tape of about 8 different songs and I remember I used to love dancing to them at home in my smurfette pajamas! LOL!
