While perusing the Wall Street Journal I came across this article(http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123561039911777481.html) where scientists are targeting sheep belching to cut methane. It first struck me as humorous, but as I read on I realized the EPA was serious about taxing ranchers.

The article talks about how approximately 48% of New Zealand's methane gases comes from agriculture, compared with less than 10% of the U.S agriculture.

So how do we tighten rules on animal emissions?

The Far Side has a funny where the cows are all standing around on their hind legs. When a car approaches, one of them yells, 'CAR', and they all stand on all fours again. Gary Larson's new cow comic will probably have something like 'EPA's coming... no burping...'
