The Intent of the Welcome Wagon, and Basic Rules for OH2 Forums!

From the chief admin, codes of behavior applicable site-wide:

-- Briefly, "respect" is expected and demanded for and from all OH2 members and "getting along" is also a community requirement. Keep personal "stuff" off the board!

-- Alerts and Security: alert forums are for information vital to community security, not to be used for general member information. The disclosure of any personal data, including health data, is not allowed (with certain exceptions).

-- Welcoming new members is encouraged, and a new member's first Welcome Wagon thread may also include photos, rates, services.

-- Bumping older existing threads is allowed, but bumping a review thread that is dormant more than 30 days is usually not allowed.


NO! NO! NO! NO:
-- discussion of illegal substances or the illegal sale of legal substances (per Federal laws... No recreational drugs or euphemisms for them mentioned/referenced/speculated about, period, and no offers/solicitation of prescription meds.)
-- bestiality
-- underage anything
-- violence or physical threats
-- health data (except your own)
-- personal welfare data (except your own)
-- multiple handles (If any member has an access issue/needs a password reset, DO NOT create another account. Please contact support@ourhome2.net to correct the problem.)
-- operating someone else's account w/o admin permission
-- outing others' personal (or former) identity data (Some exceptions exist ...Discretion of staff.)
-- racial or gender slurs
-- shaming!
-- quacking! (calling out new reviews as falsified)
-- disrespecting staff
-- leaking information from secure forums
-- thread hijacking (meaning a significant change of topic from original subject)
-- exposure of others' PMs or EMs or texts (Again, some exceptions exist at the discretion of staff.)
-- stalking/doxing (And other harassment.)

-- Yes, sexual action photos/videos ARE allowed, but only via hotlinks, not hosted here. (Please don't upload graphic intimate imagery to our database!)

The above is more or less a summary of existing rules/expectations for OH2 members within the OH2 site and elsewhere. Yes, elsewhere is inclusive for members. Members' bad actions elsewhere will be considered actionable here.

Members are expected to know and follow the rules. (Which will be periodically updated as necessary.) Warnings are never mandatory and issued only at staff discretion. (In other words, staff can go straight to other actions, like infractions/suspensions if merited.) -- ck1942
