Have any of you ever experienced Pancreatitis?

I had my first major bout with this a year ago. Put me in the hospital for 8 days. I wouldn?t wish that pain upon my worst enemy.

Spent Easter weekend in the hospital, dealing with it again. I?ve been doing all the right things, low fat diet, small meals, etc. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with this and have any advice.

I?m thinking about trying turpentine. :doh:

I’ve never been a heavy drinker and haven’t smoked in 14 years. In my case, it was prescribed medication that caused it. Diet is about all that I can do to try and minimize future problems.
